LinkedIn Lite is a free lightweight LinkedIn application that allows you to search through profiles, add a resume to your network and even send email directly from your mobile device. The free version only allows you to search jobs, open existing jobs, add resume, attach images and share email. LinkedIn Lite is a very simple to use interface, similar to Android users expectations. You can do almost everything with this program other then sending and receiving emails though, as it is not as robust as their larger program, but still provides a good service.

To download the LinkedIn Lite application, simply connect your android smartphone or tablet to your computer with a USB cable, open the LinkedIn Lite app, provide your password and then let the program do the rest. After connecting your device make sure that your android device has enough power to run the app. The LinkedIn Lite software does not have any social media integration built in, however if you are connected to an account with google, you should be able to use the news feed feature from within the app. If not, you can create an account with LinkedIn, download the app and follow the on screen prompts.
